When having a wooden cat box made for transporting your cat on a plane – you will need to take certain measurements. The box needs to be exact otherwise if it is too big you will pay extra for the flight and if it is too small you will cramp your cat up.

How big must my dog or cat box be?

Most cat  transport boxes are very similar in size – because cat are similar in size – dogs on the other hand vary greatly – and you would be well advised to measure properly. You will need a good animal travel company to move your pet overseas – they will handle all the customs requirements and inoculations. Your cat box should be airy, comfortable and sturdy. The cat transport box should have a water bowl as well. The cat box should also have carrying handles on the sides so that airport personal can move the box easily without upsetting your cat!
